There are about 30 listed IT companies on the JSE. Until some disruptive new technology comes along, that number is sure to dwindle. There are some great survivors though.
Once the growth sector of the JSE Securities Exchange, the information technology sector is now something of an endangered species. At its height, it boasted South Africa`s highest rated stocks, yet many are now in a critical condition.
