FYI Worldwide server unit shipments grew 6.7% to 8 million units in 2007. Revenue reached $54.4 billion – the highest ever recorded since the market peaked in 2000. IBM continues to lead the pack as the number 1 server worldwide, with 36.7% of the market. HP comes in second with 27.7%, with Dell and Sun tying for third place and Fujitsu/Fujitsu-Siemens, experiencing a 7.1% increase to give them 4.3%.
