Datadog describes itself as a cloud-monitoring service platform that helps companies “see inside any stack, at any scale, anywhere”. As of the end of 2023, the company had seen 27% year-over-year revenue growth, with $660 million in operating cash flow and revenue of $2.13 billion. With more than 3 400 customers, Datadog also provided them with more than 400 new features and capabilities throughout 2023. We asked Michael Lazarus, CTO at Wonga, and Andrew Bosma, CTO at OQLIS, to weigh in on the value they’ve had from Datadog.

“When we acquired Wonga in South Africa, we needed a solution that would give us the ability to manage our log correlation at scale,” says Lazarus. “We also wanted a tool that would give us more functionality than the one the company was using, that would give us more value and ROI.”
