Statistics SA works to provide the South African public, businesses and government with relevant and accurate statistics to inform them about the dynamics of the economy, the population and society at large. As you would expect, the organisation has vast multiple data sources that need to be accessible to calculate statistics and indicators and produce the required reports. And due to the confidentiality of the data, security is of critical importance in our environment. This presents Stats SA with an enormous responsibility.
