What is the downside of the ubiquity of cellular phones? Like Microsoft Windows, our personal devices have become a tempting target for crackers, hackers and pranksters.

Since we are increasingly reliant on our mobile phones for more than communication – they`ve become our calendars, address books, and even store important, confidential email and documents – the threat to users is terrifying.

But in the words of Douglas Adams: “Don`t panic!” It`s not as bad as it sounds. At least, not yet.
