Dell has a reputation for operational efficiency and an enviable sales strategy. Now it must change.

Dell's reputation as one of the world's most dynamic companies has faded. Some of its key competitors have been acquired as the IT industry has undergone significant consolidation. Today, many question what Dell should be doing to ensure its future growth and entrench its position in a consolidating global market.
Dell's annual revenue is in excess of $60 billion, its net income is approaching $3 billion, its current market capitalisation is more than $30 billion and it has approximately $9 billion available in cash.
