International Women’s Day is an event on the calendar it sees as an opportunity to celebrate women’s achievements and add visibility to continue the message to call out inequality.

“We are constantly working out issues and putting emphasis on women empowerment, forging towards an equal working environment,” says Njabulo Mashigo, Vodacom South Africa’s HR director. “The theme this year of breaking the bias is one that speaks to creating a working environment free of bias and discrimination.
