Smart devices will control our world

When looking at products like the Griffin RC Helicopter (below), it is amazing how imaginative some companies are. Yes, the iPhone is an innovative device all on its own, but the way Griffin has taken that technology and added to it, to where the phone is controlling a physical object, in this case a helicopter, is mind-blowing. It opens up a new avenue in terms of what a smartphone is capable of. Just think: in the future, the smartphone could control a car and house alarm system, an electric gate or garage door. It is becoming more evident every day that we will use the smartphone or a similar device to control our world.

Griffin Helo RC Helicopter – The most fun you will have on your iPhone

Playing Angry Birds Space and the thousands of other games available at the Apple iStore is all really fun but, honestly, staring down at the iPhone’s miniature screen can get a bit tedious. So Griffin, makers of tablet and smartphone accessories, has upped the game, so to speak, with the RC Helicopter. It’s like playing a game, except you’re using your iPhone to control a miniature toy helicopter that reacts to wind resistance, objects and gravity much like a real one would. Download the app from the iStore, charge up the chopper via the included USB cable and cause chaos in the office while zooming over your co-workers’ heads.
