Seeing security as an opportunity

It's been said that the cloud often moves too fast for security, which makes sense as cloud assets are the biggest target for cybercriminals. According to a 2023 global study from Thales Group, 39% of businesses have experienced a data breach in their cloud environment, with human error as the leading cause.

“The larger a business gets, the more complex its security concerns become,” says Clarke Rodgers, director of enterprise strategy at Amazon Web Services (AWS). “Security is everyone's problem in the organisation, and, quite frankly, everyone's opportunity.”
