Connection Group, owner of the biggest IT retail chain in South Africa, has made its first acquisition, aiming to capture a new trend.

For most consumers, the Incredible Connection brand is synonymous with domestic tech toys, from cheap printers and PCs to Playstation games and anti-virus software.

As the single remaining business unit after the systematic disposal of the Connection Group`s non-retail divisions (first Ultimate Connection and then Enterprise Connection), the Incredible Connection retail chain controls roughly half the consumer IT market.
