As we continue to navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence, one thing is clear: AI has the potential to transform organisations and industries in profound ways. At Oracle, we understand that AI is most powerful when it works seamlessly with your data. That’s why our latest generative AI (GenAI) offerings are designed to integrate with your enterprise data, making AI naturally smarter and more contextually relevant.

At the heart of OCI’s latest innovations is the OCI GenAI Agents service with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) capabilities. This RAG Agent combines the power of large language models (LLMs) with private enterprise data and retrieval-augmented generation, allowing users to converse with diverse enterprise data sources through natural language, without requiring specialised skills. Then there are additional Agents that streamline insights, productivity, and efficiency, allowing users to interact with their systems in a new way. Available in alpha, SQL Agent enables natural language to SQL generation, making it easier for non-technical users to access and analyse data.

We’re also announcing the general availability within OCI Generative A I of Meta’s L lama 3.2 vision models (90B a nd 11B). This release brings cutting-edge multimodal AI capabilities to OCI customers, enabling advanced image and text understanding in a single model. We also announced availability of the latest updates to Cohere’s Command R and Command R+ models (08-2024, version 1.6). These updates bring enhanced capabilities and efficiency to our enterprise AI offerings. Oracle’s latest innovations don’t stop there. OCI Data Science, the AI platform for data scientists and ML engineers to develop, manage, and deploy machine learning models, released new updates to AI Quick Actions, its no-code solution to fine-tune, deploy, and evaluate LLMs. AI Quick Actions now supports the Ampere ARM A1 shape to deploy models on CPUs, and enables the import of any model from Hugging Face with a few clicks of a button, opening up the ability to easily bring thousands of open source models into OCI.

Expanding the possibilities of AI

New capabilities are also available across languages, data formats, and industries in our OCI AI Services. It enhances overall accuracy by tailoring results to specific use cases. You can also deploy translation services on a dedicated endpoint, offering greater control, performance, and isolation for customers who need it. Our file translation API automatically detects document language.

We’ve also updated the translation models for 11 languages and enhanced our support for popular file formats such as SRT, JSON, and HTML. The OCI Speech service synthesises speech from text, with natural voices in text to speech and a new real-time transcription capability that includes custom vocabularies support.

So, what do all these changes mean for companies? The short answer is that Oracle’s latest innovations have the potential to drive real-world impact. With its new agents and expanded capabilities, we are making AI more accessible, more efficient, and more effective with direct access to your enterprise knowledge bases. We’re delivering AI solutions that can integrate into daily operations, enabling you to gain immediate and real-world business results.

As we look to the future of AI, one thing is clear: the possibilities are endless. With Oracle Cloud Infrastructure leading the way, you can be confident that you have the tools and solutions you need to succeed in an increasingly AI-driven world.
