Beauty, but at a price

Looking at the Lenovo Ideacentre A720 All-In-One, you would be forgiven for thinking it’s something created by one of the designers at Apple. Its ultra-thin base, coupled with the beautiful chrome hinge connecting to the touch-screen, really is extraordinary. That is, it’s extraordinary for a PC manufacturer that until now made notebooks and desktops that functioned well but looked pretty boring. It really is a computer that doesn’t need to be hidden away in a gloomy study, but is beautiful enough to become the centrepiece of a modern lounge or dining room. But it costs a small fortune and will only be bought by a few. Let’s hope Lenovo and other PC manufacturers continue the trend of making beautiful and functional PCs, while also ensuring they’re more affordable.

Lenovo IdeaCentre A720 All-In-One – Keyboard not necessary

The Lenovo IdeaCentre A720 All-In-One uses a 27-inch touch display featuring ten-point multi-touch – putting all your fingers to work. The screen’s hinge allows you to vary the angle at which you view it and even lets it lie completely flat. The slender white base is crafted from metal under which a 1TB SATA hard drive, Intel Core i7 processor, Nvidia Ge- Force GT 630M graphics card and 64GB SSD are housed. The all-in-one also boasts Dolby Home Theatre V4 audio and a high-definition webcam.
