There are many reasons for companies to "go green" or for IT departments to care about efficiency. But when even Prof. Mervyn E King, the governance guru, warns of sea level rises of eight metres, it's a hint to take images of terror and pictures of doom with a pinch of salt.
One might forgive him for making such a mistake. After all, he'll be used to relying on expert witnesses. Such alarmist eco-twaddle as sea level rises of several metres are drummed into us by supposedly credible people, are confirmed by a massive industry with vested interests in climate alarmism, and are dished up with sauce by a credulous media that thrives on stories of catastrophe.
