Getting serious about Africa

The African continent is critical to Lenovo’s growth strategy.

02 May 2013

Lenovo has its sights set firmly on Africa, says the company’s Africa GM Graham Braum. Speaking at a press event recently, Braum said the company had embarked on a roadshow, visiting four African countries – Namibia, Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya – where it met key government representatives, private companies and business partners as part of its drive into new markets.

The vendor is still executing the strategy for Africa outlined by its global CEO Yuanqing Yang on his visit in 2011.
