South Africa is losing out, thanks to fear and big business protecting its interests.

Business in South Africa is being left in the global dirt by India and other developing countries competing online.

South Africa lost 253 000 jobs in the first half of 2009 (Statistics SA). This is a shocking figure that many brush off by blaming the world recession. The reverse seems to be happening in China, however, where they are managing to create opportunities from the internet.
