In the next few months you will find your expired credit card being replaced with a new one boasting the long awaited chip. The chip is a 32k memory chip imprinted onto your credit card which can hold massive amounts of information. It’s a bit like carrying your PC in your wallet. With that kind of processing power in one card, the potential applications are enormous and internationally many new technologies are already being tested.
