Altech may succeed in swaying the Competition Commission to allow the NamITech deal - with some remedy, of course.

Altech has been working hard to overcome the objections of the competition authorities to its proposed R526.8 million merger with rival PVC card manufacturer NamITech.

In early October, just before the release of Altech`s results, the Competition Commission recommended against the merger.
