Intel boss Pat Gelsinger believes a technology CEO should never get too far from the technology. “And I think every technology company should have a technology CEO,” he says.

“It’s just a better way to manage and run a technology business. You cannot run it through a spreadsheet, you have to run it through the engineer’s desk and against that, you better be close to the engineers.”
