Where have all the taboos gone?

Microdosing moms, anyone?
How about about ketamine for kids?

Three years ago, my most popular keynote speech was titled “Sex, Drugs and AI Eurovision”. The talk was all about how the normalisation, deregulation, and new technological feasibility of taboos in our post-modern liberal society were opening up business opportunities in all sorts of surprising areas and industries.

I covered everything from the deregulation of drugs – microdosing moms, anyone, or ketamine for kids? – to the destigmatisation of synthetic yet real human relationships with bots and avatars. In many ways, I called things ahead of the trend curve but, equally, in many ways, I didn’t go far enough.
