It may sound like science fiction, but the Vita Craft cookware company has introduced stainless steel pans that control the heat of the stove to the Japanese market and plans to enter the North American market later this year.
Made in the US, Vita Craft`s RFIQ Auto-Cooking system consists of a portable electric induction stove, three pans and 24 programmed recipe cards for stovetop cooking and baking. To use the system, place the ingredients in the pan as specified by the recipe, swipe the recipe under the handle of the pan, and the cookware does the rest.
