In reality, the savings are not guaranteed, and not as obvious as is usually suggested. Particularly in the business world, every case has its own business case for using VOIP and one size decidedly does not fit all. The cost of equipment and roll-out has to be weighed up against carefully analysed cost-reduction implications.
