CIOs face tough challenges in the South African ICT landscape, according to CIO and executive management mentor Ken Jarvis.
Currently director and owner of Jika Africa, Jarvis has been a CIO for over 15 years, and also ran a Stock Exchange-listed software development company for two years. He is best known as the maverick CIO of the South African Revenue Service (Sars), who spearheaded the management of rapid technology deployment to make the organisation more efficient.
