Paris by bicycle
Parisians and visitors to the French capital have a new clean green mode of city transportation at their disposal – a self-service bicycle transit system, known as the ‘Velib.

In a serious bid to reduce carbon emissions and traffic jams, increase the fitness of it’s city dwellers, and encourage the use of Paris’s 371 km of bicycle tracks, the French government has installed a new bicycle transportation system in its capital and priced it well below the Metro underground.
