Comebacks that even Lazarus would be proud of for technologies pronounced dead (now reborn with new names) seem as common as predictions of the imminent demise of others. The reality is that so many business concepts, solutions and technologies are bleeding in to each other, supporting each other, offering similar functionality, superseding past killer apps… that it’s hard to get a read on the big daddy that is ERP, for whom Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is said to be ringing the death knell as we speak (with an almost equal number of naysayers insisting that people actually hate SOA even more)...
