There was some serious competition to prestigious race days, like the Durban July, when the crème de la crème of women ICT leaders gathered at Zioux in Sandton to join the BCX-, ITWeb- and Brainstorm-sponsored Wired4Women International Women’s Day event on 8 March. All the women were asked to wear hats and they did not disappoint – there were some spectacular outfits and hats at the event!

The theme for the event was inspired by the United Nations’ ‘DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality’ programme for 2023.
