Marketers are jumping on the green bandwagon to save the planet with the sexiest new toys and some revolutionary new ideas.

OF COURSE, NOT EVERYBODY CARES ABOUT SAVING THE planet. Many consumers, says trendwatching.com “are deeply sceptical about large corporations claiming to go green, as very few companies are seen as honest to begin with.... and hundreds and hundreds of millions of consumers, from the poor to the somewhat rich to the truly rich, don’t really care that much about the environment – either because they don’t have the luxury of fretting over carbon emissions while trying to survive, or because they are too addicted to living large, from SUVs to mansions to jet-setting around the globe.”
