It’s an exciting time to be the CIO of a property company like Growthpoint — the much-vaunted emergence of a hybrid work model is driving a major rethink of its business. With vacancy rates running in the region of 20%, says Alec Davis, it’s imperative the company rethinks its offerings.

“We have to demonstrate the art of the possible to our clients—we call it ‘workagility’,” he continues. “In practical terms, it means a much greater flexibility in terms of what is offered, from fully furnished offices, with everything from WiFi to teacups, to bare space.”
