Travelling alone, a young Kenyan lawyer is venturing where few women have gone before her: into the centre of Africa`s male-dominated telecommunications regulatory scene.
Softly spoken without being self-effacing, she has come a long way in a short time in the virtually all-male terrain of African telecommunications. Kang`oro entered the field barely a year ago when she joined GS Telecom in Johannesburg as their corporate legal counsel, responsible for regulatory issues and the negotiation of contracts across the continent.
