Like many fledgling entrepreneurs, rented space and office overheads were squeezing Thoko Moyana`s bottom line so hard she was forced to take her business home for a while to cut costs.

“Things were tough; the rental was chowing all the money away,” says Moyana, CEO of Get Ahead Technologies, a black women-owned SME specialising in computer hardware and software, PC upgrades and repairs, and network cabling.
