Under the Lenovo hood

Lenovo being famous for innovation in personal computing, says its new range of consumer products is packed with new technologies that the company is hoping will differentiate it in the market. These include an anti-bacterial keyboard shipped with desktop computers that contains antibiotic chemicals that are ingrained into the plastic of the keyboard and released through use, ensuring that the keyboard is kept microbe-free through its lifespan. Laptops in the range also incorporate quality integrated speaker systems, including subwoofers (a first for laptops) that aim to capitalise on the growing trend of consumers to use laptops as entertainment devices. One of the most impressive innovations, however, is face recogntion software that uses the integrated cameras in the new range for visual identification. Simply look at your computer and it logs you in.

Lenovo has released a new range of products aimed at the consumer market. South Africa is the first country outside of China to see these.
