The way Theven Naicker talks about how smart IT is revolutionising heavy goods vehicles suggests that he’d love to be part of the team dreaming up those innovations.

He talks excitedly about the progress that his company Scania is making with self-driving trucks, methane-powered tankers and drivermonitoring software. Sadly, his job doesn’t involve challenges like pioneering ways to prevent hackers from remotely seizing control of a 16-metre mammoth truck.
