In a 2021 report produced by Cybersecurity Insiders, 96% of surveyed cybersecurity professionals expressed at least moderate concern about public cloud security. When security news site Dark Reading polled security professionals at the end of 2024 on their biggest cloud concerns, half cited an increase in exploits targeting cloud providers, and as many pointed to increasing numbers of cloud breaches.
