Voice of the future
A young South African entrepreneur, Dr Sunette Pienaar, has joined 245 leading young executives, public figures and intellectuals as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader for 2008.

Pienaar founded Heartbeat Centre for Community Development in 2000, which empowers orphaned and vulnerable children to reach their full potential.
She is also the incumbent of the Murray & Roberts Chair for Collaborative Governance and Accountability at the Unisa Centre for Corporate Citizenship. The selection is made by the World Economic Forum, an international nonprofit based in Switzerland, to recognise the top 200 to 300 young leaders from around the world for their professional accomplishments, commitment to society and potential to contribute to shaping the future.
