If climate change was an elephant in the living room, ignored by resident humans but growing in girth, then the time has come for a plan.

Weighing in at a hefty 440 megatonnes of CO2 emissions per year, and destined, should South Africa follow current trends, of topping 1,600 megatonnes in 2050, our climate change elephant is definitely not on diet.
So, why is it that so few can see the elephant? Why this extraordinary myopia? Why at the highest levels of government and business is this issue relegated to the sidelines, either ignored or greatly diminished? Why is corporate strategy so vague? Why are personal emissions so high?
