The IT skills crisis that has hampered the growth of businesses for at least four years has finally begun to ease.

The brain drain has finally become a trickle and the skills crisis become less dire. Partly it’s because the brain drain has slowed down as First World countries suffered a severe economic recession, thwarting the ambitions of South Africans who planned to emigrate.
Perhaps it’s also because numerous companies went bust in the recession, flinging highly skilled people back onto the job market.
