VIRTUALISATION Buzzword of the moment on pretty much anything to do with business computing is virtualisation. And it’s not just for the big corporates, either. Everyone, it seems, is at it. A survey undertaken by Yankee Group found that three out of four businesses of all sizes would roll out some form of server virtualisation in 2007. Half of the companies surveyed that had already gone virtual reported significant costs savings, with 90% claiming the process was quick and fairly easy.
