I was all excited about a weekend away at a game lodge when I read the chilling fine print: ‘Please note: Tangala is electricity-free. Camera batteries can be charged through our solar panel power.’
Forget the camera batteries – what about my laptop and cellphone? How can I work if I can’t plug in the Mac? And does that mean Tangala is so remote that there isn’t even a cellphone signal? Yikes.
