The world`s eyes have turned to developing economies in the face of saturated developed markets.

As markets in the so-called 'developed' world have become saturated, so the world's salesmen have turned their eyes to developing economies. Africa, in particular, is finding itself the recipient of some clearly commercial intentions from China, the US and Europe.
It's frequently argued, usually by the companies colonising the neighbourhood, that this is a good thing. Globalisation can only benefit everyone economically, politically and socially, we're told.
