It’s an ideal scenario, where the head of a state-owned company moves on and leaves a solid strategy and operations in place as a foundation for future development. Unlike many companies that get a new leader, there will be no need to sweep clean at Telkom.
That’s the legacy Sipho Maseko left during his nine-year tenure at the telecoms company, and that is what his successor, Serame Taukobong, is now able to build upon.
