Nintendo’s done it. LG’s doing it. The film industry seems to have embraced it. So what’s all the hype about 3D? From mobile phones to game consoles, 3D seems to be the next big thing in technology.
In fact, according to Corrie Labuschagne, product and marketing manager for TVs at Samsung Electronics SA, in 2010, one million 3D TV sets were delivered to consumers within six months internationally, indicating that acquiring new technologies that provide an improved viewing experience is important to the consumer.
