Every year, Gartner publishes a CIO Agenda Report, based on interviews with around 3 000 CIOs. To establish CIO priorities for 2016, they spoke to 2 944 CIOs in 84 countries, representing approximately $11 trillion in revenue or public sector budgets, and $250 billion in IT spending.

For 2016, they listed their top three IT concerns as: BI/analytics, cloud and mobile.
