Natasha Reuben is the head of transformation at Dell South Africa, where she’s worked for over 15 years. Despite an early interest in criminal psychology, Reuben says this was a calculated career path into a place where she could match her HR skills with the fascinating growth industry of technology.

“I recognised the potential of the IT industry, so I intentionally sought opportunities in IT companies. Once I got in, I networked with professionals in the IT and HR domains, attending industry events and workshops. I was also intentional about developing specific skills relevant to HR in the IT sector, such as understanding tech job roles, IT recruitment strategies, and tech-oriented employee engagement techniques,” she says.
