Green wines

Each country has its own set of certifications governing organic viniculture, but in general, for a wine to be branded ‘organic’ it must be made from grapes that have been grown without the use of chemical fertilisers, pesticides, fungicides or herbicides.
After the grapes are harvested, no sulphates may be added to stabilise the wine, although a small and capped percentage may occur naturally.
