It’s hard to imagine a more multicultural childhood than that which shaped the life of Jocelyne Muhutu-Remy.

Growing up during a civil war showed her the damage that bigotry causes, while being surrounded by citizens from countless foreign countries taught her to respect and appreciate their cultures. Those influences and insights guide her work as the managing director of Spotify Sub-Saharan Africa, where a prime focus is to deliver the music and the stories of African artists to the ears of global listeners.
