The SMU had to leap into a multimodal model when the pandemic hit these shores and completely revise its strategy to align with the new objectives required of the university.

This is according to SMU’s chief information technology officer, Ignatius Makgoka. He says that with the institution being a teacher of doctors, dentists, nurses and the spectrum of healthcare workers, there still needs to be the human touch.
