Doctor Mafuwafuwane, security practice manager of Logicalis, says third-party service providers, vendors, partners, contractors, and suppliers, in particular, have been causing a stir regarding their involvement in the data breaches that have littered the news. He says these external parties pose a risk due to their access to internal company systems, data, and other privileged information.
