Asked how the pandemic affected the role of ICT as it pertains to Ascendis, Group CIO, Nkosenhle Ngongoma says that although at the time they had Teams for collaboration, adoption was not that high.
“We had to do lots of training and workshopping in terms of using Teams. Our mobile internet service was not ready,” he says. “We had to change our service provider and create a secured APN for the network for work from home. We use the MTN network on our mobile internet APN.
