Windows for your Apple

Bootcamp allows Macintosh users to boot Windows on their computers, facilitated by Apple`s move to Intel processors.

How does this affect us?

Until recently, comparing Macintosh computers to PCs was a bit like comparing apples to oranges (if you`ll excuse the pun). With the move to the x86 architecture and Intel processors, Apple`s Macintosh computers now share much common ground with the PC – barring slick styling and primary operating system (OS X).

This has led to the release of Apple`s Bootcamp software that allows users to dual-boot with Windows on the Mac platform, thereby running a native version of Windows.
