Networking vendor Cisco reported last year that more than 40% of its $1.5 billion SME revenue came from resellers serving under-250 employee SME businesses. The remainder was from mid-market resellers, primarily serving larger customers but recently serving smaller customers as well. Cisco sees its SME-focused resellers as the engine of growth for the SME sector in the coming years.
