South Africa just like China, says the Oracle
Its hunger for what technology can offer a developing country has put South Africa`s emerging economy high on the marketing and investment agendas of most multi-national ICT companies.

In the past 12 years, South Africa has shot to the top of the agendas of most international ICT companies – because it represents an attractive investment opportunity as well as a dynamic, technology-hungry market for ICT.
A recent visit by the leadership of the US-based Oracle Corporation provided strong evidence of the strategic importance of the South African market, with Oracle president Charles Phillips saying he felt as excited about South Africa as he did about China five years ago.
